![]() I don't really know what you mean by "Designing furniture" though, so perhaps some more traditional "modelling" software would be helpful. Businesses appear to have to pay for the source/license to use. Fusion 360 (another autodesk product) seems to have a "learning license" which provides you the source and free usage. I think FreeCAD is the de facto Open Source CAD program, though LibreCAD appears to have a significant following too (it seems like this is just 2D drawings though, so maybe not helpful for furniture design?). Most of these aren't "free as in speech", though they offer some kind of "free tier" plan. ![]() ![]() You can look at the Top 10 AutoCAD alternatives according to some random website (although I actually agree with the list) (huh, gives me weird popup on desktop. Do you mean Free as in speech or free as in beer? and are you an individual, developer, student, organization, not for profit business, for profit business, ephemeral being? well, that but unironically, in what context do you wish to use the software?ĪutoCAD is your industry standard.
